  Overbooked! After driving for 3 hours from Toronto to Gananoque with my family, the town was very busy and the parking lots were full. We were told to drive around and find a spot on a street. After finding some parking and walking back to the boat, the lineup was huge. It was actually a combination of people going on two different boat tours. By the time we got to the gate, we were told that the boat was full. There were about fifteen to twenty other people who also couldn't get on. We were so angry. It's not fair to drive from far away and have your plans cancelled because the company's system allows the boat to be oversold. The captain said it wasn't his fault. The ticket agents said it wasn't their fault, just a computer glitch. Sounds like this happens all the time. We switched our ticket to the next morning and got on the boat without issue. The actual boat ride was relaxing and exploring Boldt Castle was fun. That's the best part. We were just lucky that we hadn't made any solid plans for that day. Summary: seeing the castle is worth it, but until the Tour company changes how their website works to limit ticket sales to match the number of available seats, don't trust that buying a ticket means you'll get on the boat.

  Todd was an Amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and kind. He made a great lunch as well. Easy to talk to. The whole experience was incredible. If you are visiting this area I would strongly recommend the kayaking tour.

  Definitely a must to do ! We had great weather and amazing view during the whole cruise. The visit of Boldt castle is very interesting and varied. But prohibiting prices for food and beverage, if you want to keep it affordable eat before or after. When you are from Europe, you are the last one allowed to the custom (which are unfriendly), making your visit 20-30 minutes shorter than for the rest of the crew. Would have been great to know that before boarding.
